Andorra la Vieja is the capital of the principality of Andorra. It's about 30 Kms2 and has about 23,000 people. Its location is 1100 meters above sea level. Well worth a visit in the capital, Casa de la Vall, the Barri Antic or historic district of Andorra la Vella is one of the most beautiful places to visit. Among the narrow streets of cobblestone sidewalk is located at Casa del Vall, emblem of the city and this area is where the cozy seat of the Parliament of the small nation, built in 1580. In the Les Escaldes Caldea modern thermal complex, with a building that resembles a futuristic cathedral and which, with its hot springs, one of the largest and most complete spas of Europe.
The city is crossed from north to south by a long shopping street with a very lively business activities especially at the end of the day.

The nearest airport is Barcelona, located about 200 kms. If you want to come by car from Porto or Lisbon will have about 1200 kms of road and about 11 hours away.
