Belize is a country located on the eastern coast of the Central American coastline in front of the Caribbean Sea. It is bordered on the north by Mexico, the south and west by Guatemala, and to the east by the Caribbean Sea.

This country has a majestic tropical rainforest, ancient Maya ruins, beautiful white-sand islands and a great barrier reef.

The traditions and customs in Belize represent over 10 miscellaneous cultures.  The Belizean inhabitants form a rich and harmonious blend of Maya, Mestizo, Creole, Garifuna, East Indian, Mennonite, Arab, Chinese, European and American, resulting in a peaceful and happy country, with very friendly people.

A fabulous barrier reef, perfect for snorkeling and diving.

Amazing ancient Maya sites.

A rich tropical rainforest with a varied and exotic flora and fauna.

Belize City, except for the International airport there is nothing interesting to see or do.

Belize has a tropical weather, very hot and humid. The rainy season goes from May until November and the dry season goes from February to May. A good time to visit would be between November and May.

Several International airlines have daily flights to the Philip Goldson International Airport (PGIA) in Ladyville, 10 miles from Belize City.

From the airport there are rental car agencies and connecting flights to smaller airports throughout the country.

To travel around the country there are local airlines, rental cars, buses and boats.

Belize has a well organized road system connecting all mainland towns and principal attractions. There are small airports spread around the country, bus terminals in all towns and boat services operating from the main coastal and island towns.

Boats connect the islands and the mainland. Frequent water taxis operate between Belize City, Caye Caulker and San Pedro.
