The best time of year to visit Kuwait is the month of March, with the onset of spring.
Avoid catching the Shamal, a northwest wind common during June and July, causing strong sandstorms.
HOW TO GET THERE
The Kuwait International Airport is the only airport in the state and is served by several airlines, especially flying in the Middle East. The national airline, Kuwait Airways, which serves Frankfurt, Geneva, Rome, Kuala Lumpur, London, New York and Paris, it is better to be avoided due to poor service quality.
The best way to visit Kuwait is by taxi or by bus tours.

The standard rate is applicable in most taxis, but those waiting at the entrance of the hotels are more expensive. The normal rates are around 0.500 KD and a walk of five minutes, plus about 0,100 KD per minute. The only exception being the departure airport, are of KD 3.
