Saint-Denis de la Réunion is the administrative capital of the region and the French overseas department of Reunion
Francophones will feel comfortable in St-Denis.
Along with the lush palm resembling a sunny paradise, St-Denis could easily be mistaken for a French provincial enclave, with a flurry of fashion shops, brasseries, bistros, and boulangeries!
The island of Reunion lies east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. It is located in the northernmost point of the island near the mouth of Rivière Saint-Denis. Saint-Denis is the most populous municipality in the French overseas departments.
